Nino received a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University’s Graduate School of Education and Psychology. Prior to receiving this degree, he attended San Diego State University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Clinical Psychology. He has worked in the San Fernando Valley for the past four years in various treatment settings: residential treatment, high school counseling, intensive outpatient and in-home counseling. He has experience and interest in working with adolescents and young adults struggling with anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and other mental health concerns. In addition, Nino has experience assisting clients with developing healthy communication, emotional regulation, and coping skills. He joined the Engage team in 2016 as a Case Coordinator for our Young Adult Day Treatment program. In his free time, he enjoys watching and playing any and all sports.
