Pam is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been with Engage since 2016. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Education and Social Policy from Northwestern University, and a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Chicago. Over the past twenty-five years, Pam has worked extensively within both community mental health and medical settings with children, teens, and adults. In private practice, Pam enjoys working with middle-schoolers, teens, and adults who are struggling to manage stress, depression, and anxiety. She works from a strengths-based perspective with a focus on building insight, developing awareness of ways we often out-think ourselves and get in our own way, learning to self-advocate, and also adding needed supports and tools to help us create and maintain positive change. Having someone in our corner for support and guidance as we shift and grow can be a game-changer. Two specialty areas of interest include supporting individuals and their families who are living with acute or chronic medical conditions, as well as working with parents for support and enhancement of parenting and communication skills. She considers it an honor and a privilege to create a safe and supportive space with her clients as they navigate their current path in life. In her free time, Pam enjoys time with her family, cheering for their beloved (World Series Champions!) Chicago Cubs.
