Alongside this, she enjoyed more than 10 years providing child-care and tutoring services to pre-k, elementary and middle school students within the community.
Bijana incorporates humanistic and strengths-based approaches while utilizing cognitive-behavioral methods in her work with children, adolescents and young adults. She has a passion for connecting youth to their values and passions, so that they may walk through life with excitement and admiration. Bijana spends her time volunteering with local organizations such as Reading Partners of Los Angeles and The Orange County Human Trafficking Task Force, exploring the outdoors, and playing sand volleyball with her sister and friends. Her dream is to eventually work alongside her sister within the field of mental health and contribute to an overall decrease in the rates of relapse for those who struggle with substance abuse.
