Andrew Cohen
Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist

Andrew joined the Engage team in 2017.  Andrew received his Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) followed by a Master’s of Science degree in Counseling Psychology, with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy, from California Lutheran University (CLU). He began to hone his therapeutic skills in a community clinic where he provided individual and family therapy to a broad range of clients. While at CLU, Andrew worked in the Intimate Partner Violence program, treating clients suffering from trauma-related disorders who were survivors of domestic violence.  His clinical experience also includes working as part of an intensive outpatient treatment team and residential treatment team that focused on addressing adolescents struggling with substance use, depression, anxiety, and co-occurring mental health issues.
Andrew enjoys working with a wide age range of clients and he has a strong passion for working with anxiety and OCD disorders.  He integrates Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Cognitive-Based Mindfulness into a strengths-based approach so clients can gain insight into what makes them truly happy, build resiliency, and rekindle their interests.
